Irene Hamming was born to a Dutch family and was raised on a dairy farm. In 1982, she moved from rural British Columbia to pursue a career in the Banking Industry. After several years, she decided to expand her horizons and use her knowledge and experience in the rewarding field of non-profit. She then moved to Ottawa working for a Member of Parliament. In 1990, Irene returned to Vancouver to pursue a career in Real Estate.
