Professional BackgroundI began my working career in 1967 as a Copywriter for CBC Radio in a small town in Alberta. I love the radio business - writing was my passion and I made so many good friends. We all did a lot of Public Service in the community, which was expected of us, at that time. I was in radio for approximately 7 years. During the early years, I also spent a great deal of time as a Mom and homemaker. And for a brief period, I did some admin for a small Real Estate/New Development company. As my sons grew older, I returned to College and graduated from a program in Office Administration. I then moved to Edmonton for a 3-year stay, where I worked for a downtown Law Firm & took evening classes in Conveyancing & Litigation/Personal Injury. I relocated to the West Coast and Vancouver, starting my own small company and doing temp work. After a time, I returned full time to a Law Firm downtown Vancouver and to Real Estate Administration, where I stayed for approximately 5 years. In the fall of 1998 I moved to Victoria.....the City of Flowers! In 2003 I joined Century 21 Royal Victoria Realty in administration and after a year decided to take my Real Estate license. Shortly thereafter, I had the opportunity to do new development sales in downtown Victoria. For some time RE/MAX has been my home and Victoria has been the most wonderful place to live! I have spend several years in real estate sales, selling both new & existing properties in the Victoria area, as well as some properties up-island. I? m a supporter of Victoria Hospitals Foundation, Anawin House, Wildlife Canada, Edgewood Foundation, RC Legion & PBS.
