New Fit to Sell Videos and the Buyer's Report Card

Nine new videos of tips for your home sellers are now available on RE/MAX of Western Canada's YouTube channel and www.remax-western.ca.

Use these tools to grow your business:

• Create a Fit to Sell section on your website and embed the YouTube videos for your visitors to view.

• Post a link to www.remax-western.ca or the any of the Fit to Sell YouTube videos on your Facebook page.

• Email new clients and include the link to display Fit to Sell video(s).

• Tweet Fit to Sell tips with a link to the corresponding YouTube video.

• Choose one day a week to be 'Fit to Sell' day at the office (ie: Friday to catch your clients before the weekend) and send out an email or tweet to your new clients featuring one Fit to Sell video.

RE/MAX Collection Updates from RE/MAX, LLC
The new Web page launched on March 1st. The page will have a geo-targeted photo carousel of RE/MAX luxury listings. In addition, there will be an area to search for a luxury agent (agents that have the luxury residential sub-specialty, as well as an option to search for an agent with the CLHMS designation).

A campaign with the Wall Street Journal launched on March 1st. The campaign includes video pre-roll, run of site banner ads, and feeds for our RE/MAX luxury listings. Associates will have their luxury listings placed on wsj.com for free. The value of having our listing feeds on the site is tremendous. The cost for an associate to advertise one listing for a ten month period would be $1,750-$3,500. The market value of having 15k listings posted for 10 months ranges from $26.25MM-$52.5MM. In addition, this will increase our presence in the luxury market and will provide our associates with more visibility for their listings.

A customizable brochure will be available on Design Centre before convention. The brochure will allow associates to upload their own photos and copy. The piece may act as a listing presentation or a marketing brochure for a property.

New Website templates will be available through approved supplier, Superlative. The templates will be branded with The RE/MAX Collection and will offer associates a variety of semi-custom luxury Website options.

A 30-second, consumer based commercial for The RE/MAX Collection is currently being created. The commercial may be used on the Web, in local TV advertising or on associates' websites.

A new resource area will be available on the luxury homes page of Mainstreet where associates will be able to access press release templates and luxury housing reports, provided by The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.

Edmonton Eskimos Backdrop Renewed!

The Edmonton Group Advertising Committee sponsored Edmonton Eskimos press centre backdrop.

The backdrop, featuring the Outstanding Agents. Outstanding Results®.  logo, goes wherever the Eskimos play which makes for great exposure for RE/MAX for the upcoming Canadian football season.

New Addition to the Advertising Department

Elaine Langhout, Director of Regional Advertising is pleased to announce that Jackie Ostash has joined the Advertising Department for RE/MAX of Western Canada as Public Relations Coordinator.


Jackie brings over 10 years of experience in public relations, social media and broadcast journalism to the position. Jackie will be responsible for writing and producing regional news initiatives to gain the media’s attention and managing content for RE/MAX of Western Canada’s social media sites.

  Special Events Team Gets Ready to Tour
 


RE/MAX Special Events Team
The RE/MAX Special Events Team, operated by Sundance Balloons, consists of three teams (Alberta, British Columbia, and Manitoba/Saskatchewan) operating from late May to October of each year.

As balloon flights can carry promotional or media passengers only, the Special Events Team includes a tethered RE/MAX hot air balloon, inflatable house tents, cold air balloons, bouncing castles, and more for GA committees, Broker Owners or Sales Associates to request for any community event.

Please note that Special Events Team items cannot be separated though pricing is based on the needs of the event. Consult the request form for price options.
Three RE/MAX Special Events Teams will be accepting bookings to fly or tether from late May to October 31, 2011. Book as soon as possible for the best chance of securing your date for the RE/MAX Special Events Team in 2011. Costs and information are available on the request forms. Multi-Office Area Broker Owners:
Your event may be eligible for credits available through the Local GA Committees. Use the Multi-Office Request Form and Sundance will forward to your local GA for approval of credits. You will receive a decision directly from your local GA committee.

Single-Office Area Broker Owners:
Use the Single-Office Request Form to apply to Sundance. If your date is confirmed and event held, you will be billed direct by Sundance. It is a GA eligible cost.
