| BC Transplant Society/Organ Donor Program Update |
|
RE/MAX of Western
Canada trumpets organ donor awareness by
participating in an advertising campaign during
the month of April culminating during Organ
Donor Awareness Week – April 18-24, 2011.
Promoting this important health issue helps give
potential transplant recipients on the waiting
list hope of receiving life saving organ
transplants before it's too late.
RE/MAX is a proud sponsor of Organ Donor
Awareness campaigns in BC and in the
Prairies.
In BC, REMAX is one of 12 sponsors and featured on Global, CTV, CHEK and TV Week. The
campaign’s 278 spots deliver over 2,000,000
impressions. The campaign runs in two flights.
The Spring flight airs April 4-31 and the Fall
flight airs October 3 – 30. This year they are
debuting a new “Eva” spot (more on that in the
Aquarius press release).
In the Prairies, REMAX is the sole sponsor, featured on Global in Alberta, Saskatchewan
and Manitoba. The campaign runs for four weeks,
April 4 – May 1. All in, the campaign’s 589
spots deliver 764,900 impressions. The creative
is the “Josh” spot which is in the process of
getting updated to the OAOR tag.
BC Transplant is celebrating its 25th
Anniversary this year after a record-breaking
number of organ transplants and donor
registrations in 2010.
RE/MAX
of Western Canada is supporting BC Transplant
Society who is launching a new campaign, LIVE
LIFE. PASS IT ON. This campaign is to help raise
awareness for organ donation by keeping the
spotlight focused on the life changing results
that transplant brings to those in need. RE/MAX
of Western Canada is encouraging it’s British
Columbia Broker Owners, Agents and Affiliates to
proudly hang the Eva Markvoort posters in their
offices, link the promotional videos to their
websites and help spread this worthy message
through their social media sites.

Children's Miracle Network |
|
As printed in
HERO The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation
Magazine:
In
2011, every RE/MAX REALTOR® in Edmonton donated
to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
When this happens, they achieve ‘Miracle City’
status. Together, they raised more than $365,000
in support of sick and injured children.
RE/MAX agents are sometimes known as ‘miracle
workers’ for their ability to find just the
right house. However, it’s outside the home
purchase where the real miracles happen. When
you buy a home with a RE/MAX agent, he or she
has an option to make a contribution on behalf
of the sale to the local Children’s Miracle
Network hospital through RE/MAX’s Miracle Home
Program.
In addition to their Miracle Home Program,
RE/MAX once again teamed up with Marriott at
River Cree Resort to raise more than $60,000
from their Cotton Club Gala.
Congratulations RE/MAX agents on becoming a
Miracle City! Thank you for your continued
support.

Testimonials - Community Care Program |
“I am proud to support the RE/MAX organ donor
awareness program. My cousin’s 17 year old
daughter was killed in a car accident 8 years
ago and they donated her organs. It has given
them so much peace and solace knowing that they
were able to help save other people’s lives.
Spreading awareness for the ongoing need for
organ donation is vital to helping those on the
organ donor wait list.”
