I first came to the Valley in 1978 for a ski holiday, I stayed. Some still accuse me of being on that same holiday, they are jealous. I introduced my folks to the area in 1981, they in turn, bought a lot on the river and built their dream. As time progressed they decided to cash out with the hype of the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, where Canmore hosted the Nordic Events. They sold their house in 1986, the most expensive house to ever sell, $225,000. I got my License In 1988 and sold the first house over a million in 1991. Pre Olympics, Post Olympics, Canmore was now on the world stage. Having seen our modest town grow from 4300 to its present day 17,000+, I pride myself of being called one of the most knowledgeable Realtors in town by my friends and clients. I have seen it all!
