As a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, I was transferred to Hinton in February 1989 and enjoyed all the community had to offer. I retired from the RCMP in 1998, after 25 years of service and chose to remain in the community and explore the many opportunities this town has to offer. For many years I operated an engraving business as well as being a swimming instructor at the local pool. During this time I also worked as a firefighter with the Town of Hinton Fire Department before leaving to pursue a full time career in real estate in 2004. In 2010 I was elected as a Director to the Alberta West Realtor's Association, to advocate on behalf of the Realtors throughout west central Alberta. In 2015 I was elected President of the Association for a 2 year term, then in 2017 served an additional 2 years as the Past President. I have enjoyed participating in the growth and many changes that have occurred in Hinton over the years and look forward to helping my clients establish a rewarding life for themselves in our vibrant community.
