After High School Justin started his career in the oilfield working on the oil rigs. Justin worked his way up through the ranks and ended his career in the Oil & Gas industry as the Health Safety & Environment Manager for one of Western Canada’s largest drilling contractors.
When the oil industry crashed in 2015, Justin was forced to find a new career to support his family. Real Estate was a natural fit, and something he was always interested in since he had a strong understanding of the profession from his growing up and being around his father in the industry, along with Justin’s past experience as a Surface Land Agent.
Justin continues to reside in rural Ponoka where he is married and has two young children. Justin has been very active in the community, and has been a volunteer non-parent coach in the Ponoka Minor Hockey system for nine different seasons. Justin is currently Chairman of the Parks, Recreation, & Culture Advisory Committee, Vice-Chairman of the newly formed Ponoka Arts, Recreation & Cultural Society (PARCS), and a member of the Greens Committee at the Ponoka Community Golf Course. Justin also volunteers with the Ponoka Stampede Association assisting the ground crew prepare safe grounds in the arena and chuckwagon track.
With Justin’s diverse background in farming, real estate, oilfield management, and long history of getting involved with the community, he is the ideal candidate for helping you with your residential or rural real estate needs. If you need someone who is motivated, knowledgeable, detail oriented, and CARES enough to work his hardest to help you achieve your real estate goals, Justin will certainly be able to exceed your expectations.
