I was born in China and came to Canada (Montreal) after graduated from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 1992. I got two master degrees from McGill University (Biochemistry and Computer Science) and enjoyed the Montreal wonderful summers and harsh winters. I had worked in Biotechnology Research Institute, National Research Council Canada for 3 years, then I decided to be a software developer after spending so much time in the lab. In 1998, I moved to Toronto and worked as a staff developer in IBM Toronto Lab. In 2000, I decided change my role from a developer to a consultant, which I could deal with customers directly. I became an AT&T Canada IT consultant serving Scotish Bank, TD Canada (at that time, TD and Canada Trust were not merged together) and CIBC. After that, I worked for BEA and Oracle as principal consultant travelling around the world for almost 10 years.

In 2016, My wife and I with our three cute boys decided to settle down in Victoria, BC. We have traveled through many different cities, Tokyo, HongKong, Taipei, Bangkok, Saigon, Beijing, Shanghai, New York, San Francisco, Los Angles etc. Overall, In my mind, Victoria, BC, Canada is the most livable city in the world from many perspectives, environment, education, community, culture, weather, living condition etc etc. And we have never seen people so enjoying their life anywhere else in the world.

I speak both English and Mandarin (Chinese), I am so enjoy talking with different people from different countries with different background. Everyone is a book of fine art waiting for a patient reader and I am a good reader.
