Victoria has a character that caters to a fairly diverse group of people. Victoria is reasonably good for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are generally tranquil. However, there are about 40 public green spaces nearby for residents to relax in, like John Hendry Park and Kensington Park, and they are very well-distributed, which makes it easy to access them. Finally, even though this part of the city is not known for its lively ambience, its main streets are still quite energetic, and finding one of the a few nightlife venues is sometimes hard because they are generally situated in not especially convenient locations.
