Whistler has been home for 35 years now. That's long enough to remember when Whistler Village was half it's size, to have watched the community grow up around me, and to know this market inside and out. It's given me something a real estate course can't teach — the kind of instinct that only comes from living in a place. I've been selling Whistler real estate for 25 of those years. Along the way I picked up a business degree in Marketing and, a little later, a Master's in Applied Legal Studies — not because the plaques look nice on a wall (though they do) but because learning and applying genuinely interests me. I love writing a listing that makes someone put down their coffee to keep reading. I love catching the clause in a contract that matters three months from now. I love walking a buyer onto a luxury home's deck and letting the afternoon light do the rest. Here's what makes the way I work different. Marketing. I treat every listing as its own small brand — its own story, its own photography direction, its own buyer in mind. I write the narrative. I build the campaign. A beautiful Whistler home should never disappear into a five-line MLS description. Legal literacy. The law degree isn't decoration. It means I read contracts, disclosures, and strata documents carefully and ahead of time — the way a lawyer reads them. My clients don't wonder what a clause means. I tell them before they ask. 35 years in the village. I know the streets, the buildings, the planners, the sub-trades, the neighbours, the restaurateurs. When you list with me, you're listing with someone who has actually lived the market you're selling. A lot of Whistler owners live somewhere else — Vancouver, Toronto, Seattle, Sydney, Mexico, London, Hong Kong, Singapore.
