As a BC native, Raquel understands both the allure and wisdom of owning property in BC. She has bought, flipped, lived in, managed, and rented more than 25 properties while also enjoying success as an entrepreneur. After becoming a full-time realtor in 2007, Raquel quickly found her niche—helping people find their dream home while ensuring they maximize the financial benefits of property ownership. After three decades of selling and investing in the BC real estate market, Raquel is convinced that no other place in the world compares in terms of beauty, diversity or real estate opportunity. Warm and engaging, Raquel is a world class connector whose ethics and professional efforts over the last thirty years have created long-standing relationships within the West Kootenay real estate and business communities. Raquel recognizes the importance of an individualized experience that lends itself to finding that perfect home, applying her talents and leveraging her extensive network on behalf of her clients. When not selling real estate, Raquel can be found hiking with her dog Rylie alongside some of her long time friends, connecting with friends for a spin or yoga class at the gym, or paddle boarding at one of her many favorite local beaches. Raquel’s passion for building strong communities extends beyond her work as a realtor. A long-time volunteer for the Canadian MS Society, she connects newly diagnosed patients with community resources that can help improve their health and quality of life.
