Brompton is very car friendly. It is a rather short drive to the closest highway, such as Autoroute Joseph-Armand-Bombardier, from any location in Brompton, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. On the other hand, the transit access in this part of Sherbrooke is rather poor. Nevertheless, there are about 10 bus lines traversing the borough, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. Even though certain pleasant pockets for cycling exist, Brompton is not particularly amenable to cycling because bicycle riders encounter quite a few hills, and there are few bike lanes. A majority of the houses for sale in this borough are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for pedestrians because running daily errands is inconvenient without a vehicle.
