The character of Maple Ridge is exemplified by its slower-paced atmosphere. Numerous locations within the city have fairly good access to parks, like North Alouette Regional Greenway and Fort Langley Heritage Conservation Area, since getting to the closest one from the majority of properties for sale is very easy. There are over 150 public green spaces nearby for residents to check out, including Merkley Park and Woodlot 0007. This city is also very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
