However, Sunset Beach is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Biking is difficult in Sunset Beach because the cycling network is quite poor, and cyclists are faced with quite a few elevation changes. Walking is also not very convenient for house buyers in this part of the municipality as almost no daily errands can be run without needing a vehicle.

Sunset Beach does not have any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, there are only a very small number of daycares and accordingly they can be a very long distance away. As far as food is concerned, property owners in Sunset Beach generally have to turn to a car to access the closest grocery store.
