Born and raised in Truro, I have has spent equal time living in the Truro region and in the Annapolis Valley – enough to say that both areas are ‘home’ to me. A graduate of Acadia University with Arts & Education degrees, I have a diversified work history including jaunts in the education field, the wholesale book industry, as a small business owner/operator, as executive director of Alumni Affairs for Acadia University, and others but my focus over the last 25 years has been economic and community development. Stemming from an extensive community volunteer experience, my passion for community development on many levels has involved me in diversified projects throughout the Town of Truro as Executive Director of the Downtown Truro Partnership and the Town of Berwick as Director of Community Development & Recreation. Close to my heart are my daughter and son, their spouses and my 5 grandchildren, all of whom live in Valley. My interests also include renovating older homes! Having completed a large number of renovations of my own, and have an appreciation for properties of all sizes, ages and styles, I have always been keenly interested in the real estate market. At this stage in my career, I am excited about being able to work in the field and looks forward to being able to assist you with your home ownership needs.
