Joanne has been with Remax Fairlane Realty & working in the Real Estate Industry for over 18 years, & has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2018 & obtained her Managing Associate Brokers license in 2021. You may also know Joanne from her 8 yr career operating her photography company with her husband David. From there, Joanne brings her passion for photography & creativity when in listing properties to showcase them with high quality photos, video, marketing & social media. Joanne loves working with home buyers guiding them through the process so it's not only stress free but fun! When purchasing a home through Joanne you can expect a detailed play by play of the process to keep you in the loop, local market knowledge & help navigating you from house hunting to closing. Joanne also loves utilizing the latest technology tools from Remax - from e-signature programs, virtual walk throughs, video conferencing & digital buyer & seller packages. Joanne recently was elected by her fellow REALTORS® for a 3 year term on the Nova Scotia Real Estate Commission’s Board of Directors & is the Vice Chair for the MLS® Committee for the Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS®. Joanne has sat on many boards incl the Cobequid Arts Council, the Third Place Transition House, the Tourism committee & the Rental Standards Committee for the Town of Truro. Joanne also recently joined the Truro Rotary Club as a Corporate Member. Joanne believes that everyone should have a safe, affordable place to call home. Joanne is also active in community Theater, the Lotus Center & organizing local drives to collect donations for the Resource Center for Women in Need. Joanne has 3 dogs,. She enjoys gardening, crafting & painting. Joanne is a life long resident of Truro, and is proud to call downtown Truro home.
