Lisa Norman, a proud Nova Scotian and 14th-generation Bluenoser, has deep roots that span the entire province. From the heart of the Valley to the fishing villages of Cape Breton, and from HRM to the South Shore, each generation before her proudly served their families and communities through hands-on work. Builders, farmers, fishermen, homemakers, priests, and servicemen carried the pride of home, the loyalty of family, the belief in friendship and communal fellowship, in their hearts. With the same salt of the earth qualities, integrity and ethicality, Lisa became an MSVU alumna and worked for many years with a large corporation, supporting and assigning work to professionals spanning across the Atlantic provinces. After earning her most important title, “Mom,” Lisa spent years as a community volunteer and advocate. She also served as a public servant for nearly two decades. Today, Lisa spends her time tending to her garden, berry bushes, and fruit trees, or roaming the fields of her farm with her canine companion, Pepper. She is also a churchgoer and a good neighbour. Lisa brings passion and sincerity to those looking to move forward on their life’s path, and to those looking to find home.
