I grew up in Peterborough and moved to Guelph in 2006 for University and fell in love with the city, and have not left since! I completed my degree in Biomedical Science with a focus in Neuroscience, and conducted addictions research for two years before realizing that I was not cut out for working with rats. I missed the human interaction that research lacked, and decided to go back to working in a restaurant until I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. Fast forward 10 years and I was still at the same restaurant as a bartender and bar manager. I realized working at a desk all day could never be my life; I need to be on my feet and interacting with all different kinds of people. I have been lucky enough to build some lifelong relationships with some of my guests at the restaurant, and I am confident that I will be able to do the same in real estate. I have always had an interest and passion for real estate, and have played with the idea of getting my license for many years, but as a single Mom with two young children I was timid about making a career change until they both were in school. The pandemic, and resulting lock downs gave me the push I needed to begin my real estate journey. I am so excited to hit the ground running with RE/MAX Real Estate Centre, and cannot wait to help you in your future purchase or sale.
