Rebekah Nish is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson as a part of the Strano Team at RE/MAX Professionals North. Hailing from the small town of Mildmay, Ontario, Rebekah lives in the Haliburton Highlands, close to her in-laws and plans on growing her family here. She spends a majority of her free time engaged in outdoor activities with her Husband, Daughter and German Shepherd. Rebekah has spent the past 5 years in construction trades as an Electrician, Fiber Optic Technician and Certified Welder. The work she has done includes office renovations in commercial settings, whole home rewiring and maintenance in nuclear power plants. Working in construction provides Rebekah an in-depth understanding of how houses are built, renovated and the best practices to ensure that they are energy efficient. She is able to apply this knowledge as a Real Estate Agent to ensure her clients’ needs are met. Rebekah is an advocate for Women in Skilled Trades. She has spoken in 13 cities and towns all across Ontario and to thousands of highschool students at career fairs. As a result of her passion and dedication to educating young men and women about the trades, she won the prestigious Women in Nuclear Canada Technical Scholarship.
