Michael Kinghorn

A s Business Manager and Licensed REALTOR, Michael oversees marketing, new business acquisition along with operational responsibilities. Raised in Vernon, Michael attended BCIT before joining the Vancouver Canucks overseeing their growing online and digital presence. Michael relocated to Vernon with his wife Andrea in 2006 to join Kal Tire’s marketing department. As the Marketing Manager – Retail, Michael was in charge of advertising and promotions for the over 250+ stores. He also was part of the Kal Tire re-brand, developed the first-ever Brand Book for both the regular business and the Mining Tire Group and redeveloped KalTire.com adding a tire ordering system – the first of its kind in company history. Michael is also a big volunteer in the community, assisting with the marketing and fundraising for the 2019 BC Special Olympics Winter Games, the 2022 and 2023 Kal Bowl Football Games as well as being the President of the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation Board since 2019. With their two daughters in various activities, you can find the Kinghorn family cross country skiing, at the lake or at one of the many outdoor activities Vernon has to offer.
