Laura was born and raised in the Ottawa Valley. She left to go to university at Queen's in Kingston, Wilfrid Laurier in Waterloo, and Memorial University of Newfoundland in St Johns. Since returning to the area in 2012, she has established herself as a top producer and industry leader in the area.
