Grant Park has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Although this part of Winnipeg is not known for its lively atmosphere, it is very easy to find bars as they are well-distributed throughout the area. Grant Park is good for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue, although that is not the case close to the railway line. Public green spaces, including Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex and Brenda Leipsic Off-leash Dog Park, are very well-spread out and there are approximately 20 of them close by for residents to explore, making them very easy to get to.
