Austin East offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time in green spaces. Most areas in this neighbourhood are quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, green spaces, such as Valleyview Reserve, are very well-located and there are a few of them nearby for residents to enjoy, making it easy to get to them.


The car is very often the preferred method to navigate Austin East. Parking is easy. However, Austin East is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. It is impractical for pedestrians to navigate Austin East because very few daily errands can be run on foot.

With regards to education, there are only a limited number of primary schools in this part of the city and therefore they can be a rather long walk away. Additionally, this part of the city does not have any high schools. Furthermore, daycares are not especially abundant and consequently may require a long walk to get to.
