Downtown real estate guide & listings for sale

Downtown is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. Green spaces, including Royal City Park and Silvercreek Park, are very well-located and there are approximately 20 of them nearby for residents to enjoy, making it easy to reach them. The noise levels in this area are also reasonably low, as the streets tend to be quite calm - although there are still several noisier sections, especially around one of the railway lines.

Accessing a parking spot is quite easy, and the majority of houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway. Housing

In Downtown, around 45% of dwellings are single detached homes, but large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. This part of the city experienced its largest construction boom before the 1960s, so most of the available properties are from this time period. This neighbourhood offers mainly three bedroom and two bedroom homes. The split between homeowners and renters is about even.
