Most areas in Eastview are very quiet, as the streets are generally very peaceful.


This neighbourhood is quite car friendly. It is convenient to access a parking spot. Walking is not especially practical for residents in Eastview because few daily needs can be carried out without having to use a vehicle.


In Eastview, roughly half of dwellings are single detached homes, while the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings, duplexes, and townhouses. This area offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes. Around 60% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners whereas renters occupy the remainder. Roughly one third of homes in this neighbourhood were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s.


In Eastview, parents and their kids will generally be able to get to daycares and primary schools by walking. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this area. Regarding eating, house buyers in Eastview will appreciate that a grocery store is always only a rather short walk away. A limited number of restaurants are available in Eastview as well.
