Employment real estate guide & listings for sale

Due to the presence of very few pedestrians, Employment is relatively quiet. Parks aren't well-distributed, which makes them occasionally hard to get to from a large number of locations within the neighbourhood. Still, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to relax in.

Getting around by car is especially convenient in this area. Parking is easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way. In contrast, the public transit network in this area is not especially practical. Nonetheless, property owners are served by the Appleby Station on the Lakeshore West Line. The neighbourhood is connected by about 20 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. Walking is not very feasible for residents in this area as most daily needs are occasionally challenging to carry out without the use of a car. The bike is a rather limited method of transportation in Employment because cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of slopes, and there are very few bike lanes. Nonetheless, certain enjoyable areas for bicycling exist.

Townhouses are the most common housing type, representing roughly 40% of buildings in Employment, and the rest are mainly large apartment buildings, small apartment buildings, and single detached homes. Roughly 45% of properties in this area were constructed following the year 2000, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1990s. This neighbourhood has a good selection of housing size options, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. About 80% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 20% are rented.

Parents may consider it challenging for their kids to get to high schools and primary schools on foot. Moreover, daycares are not especially abundant and accordingly not always within walking distance. Regarding food, it is frequently practical for house buyers in Employment to purchase groceries on foot. Likewise, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of opportunities, and a small variety of cafes is available as well.
