Most areas in Florence are very quiet, as the streets are very calm. It is rather challenging to get to parks in the community since they aren't well-distributed. Despite that, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to relax in.
Driving is usually the favoured mode of transportation in this area. It is very easy to park. Many of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not very conducive to those who travel by foot as running daily errands is very impractical.
The predominant housing types in Florence are single detached homes and row houses. This area has a good choice of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Around three quarters of the units in the community are occupied by homeowners while the rest are rented. Roughly one third of properties in this part of the municipality were constructed prior to the 1960s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s.
In all cases, a car is needed to buy groceries. There are a few restaurants in this area. As far as education is concerned, primary schools are easy to get to on foot from most homes for sale in Florence. In contrast, families may find it difficult to access high schools as a pedestrian.
