Fort Langley is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. It is easy to get to parks since there are a few of them close by for residents to explore. This neighbourhood is quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several louder sections, especially near the railway line.


The car is usually the preferred approach to navigate Fort Langley. Accessing a parking spot is easy. However, getting around by transit can be difficult in Fort Langley by reason of the low service level. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Commuting by bicycle is difficult in this part of Township of Langley because there are quite a few elevation changes, and the cycling network is not very comprehensive. Walking is also not very practical for residents in Fort Langley as very few day-to-day needs can be carried out without the use of a car.

This neighbourhood offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.


Property owners in this part of Township of Langley will value that a grocery store is always only a short walk away. Residents can enjoy approximately 20 restaurants and cafes as well. When it comes to education, it is a rather short walk to reach both primary and secondary schools from anywhere in Fort Langley. In contrast, it can be challenging to access daycares as a pedestrian.
