Henderson Estates offers a slower-paced ambience and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This neighbourhood is especially quiet, as the streets are generally very tranquil. Lastly, there are a few public green spaces close by for residents to explore, like Henderson Park, and they are very well-spread out, which makes it very easy to access them.


Driving is an excellent transportation option in this area. It is straightforward to park, and most houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway. On the other hand, Henderson Estates is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, house owners benefit from about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Travelling on foot is not very feasible for residents in Henderson Estates as most daily needs are inconvenient to carry out without the use of a car. In contrast, biking is easy in Henderson Estates since the cycling infrastructure is quite well-developed.


The housing stock of Henderson Estates is composed primarily of single detached homes and townhouses. There is a higher proportion of four or more bedroom homes in this area. Nearly all of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners whereas the rest are rented. This neighbourhood experienced its most significant construction boom in the 1980s, so most of the available housing stock is from this era.


Henderson Estates does not have any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, parents and their kids may consider it very hard to get to daycares on foot. As far as eating is concerned, property owners in Henderson Estates often have to turn to a car to do grocery shopping. Nonetheless, it is generally a rather short distance to the closest pharmacy, which can provide some staple foods.
