People who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Humbermede. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however noise can be an issue close to Highway 400 or the railway line. Lastly, there is a fair amount of greenery in this neighbourhood as there are numerous tree-lined streets. Most locations within the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to green spaces, such as Summerlea Park and Albion Gardens Park, since getting to the closest one is easy from the majority of homes and there are a few parks close by for residents to enjoy.

Transportation

Humbermede will appeal to property owners that use different methods of transportation. Thanks to a few nearby bus lines, commuting by public transit is easy in this area. Many of the houses for sale in this part of Toronto are located in places that are also suitable for those who travel by foot; many common errands can be run without the use of a car. Humbermede is not very suited for bicycling because riding is rendered difficult by the often hilly area, and the cycling network is not very well-developed.

It is straightforward to get to the nearest supermarket by walking from most properties for sale in this part of the city. Moreover, Humbermede is a fairly good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe. It is also a rather short walk to a reasonable choice of clothing stores. In terms of education, in Humbermede, parents and their children will generally be able to get to daycares and schools by walking. Residents are served by public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level.
