Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the reserve. Kamloops 1 is not very suitable for those who travel by foot since carrying out daily needs is very inconvenient by walking.

This reserve has a good selection of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. About 80% of the population of this reserve own their home while renters make up the remainder. The buildings in this reserve are very modern, since about 70% of its buildings were built after the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1990s.


A vehicle is almost always needed in Kamloops 1 to access the closest supermarket. When it comes to education, there are only a very small number of primary schools in this reserve and consequently they can be a very long walk away. Moreover, Kamloops 1 does not have any high schools. Moreover, daycares are not numerous and thus not always within walking distance.
