LaSalle is good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case close to the railway line, Highway 3 or Highway 401.

Single detached homes and townhouses are the main housing type in LaSalle. The buildings in this part of the town are very new, since roughly 30% of its dwellings were built following the year 2000, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1960s. This community is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Nearly 95% of the dwellings in the community are occupied by homeowners and 5% are rented.


Families may find it challenging for their children to access high schools and primary schools on foot. At the primary level, both public and private schools can be found. Furthermore, daycares are not especially plentiful and consequently not always within walking distance. In terms of food, it is very rarely practical for home buyers in LaSalle to reach the closest supermarket on foot. There are also a few opportunities for those who value restaurants in close proximity.
