Lunenburg is wonderful for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.


The car is very often the best transportation option in Lunenburg. It is very convenient to find a place to park. Travelling on foot is not very practical for residents in Lunenburg because meeting daily needs is very inconvenient by walking.


The substantial proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of Lunenburg is an important part of its character. Roughly one third of homes in this municipal district were built pre-1960, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s.
