This neighbourhood is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although there are still several noisier sections, especially closer to Trans-Canada Highway. Finally, there are a few parks close by for residents to enjoy, making it very easy to access them.


Cars are a great medium of transportation in this area. It is especially convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are quite easy to access from any location in Lynnmour North. However, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Most houses for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are not very suitable for walking as very few daily errands can be run without having to resort to a car. Biking is also very hard in Lynnmour North since the cycling network is not very comprehensive, and bicycle riders encounter quite a few elevation changes.


In Lynnmour North, roughly 55% of buildings are townhouses, and the rest of the properties are mainly small apartment buildings. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy roughly 90% of the units in Lynnmour North and the remainder are rented. This neighbourhood experienced its largest building boom in the 1960s and 1970s, so most of the available properties are from this time period.


There are only a limited number of primary schools in this neighbourhood and consequently they can be an extended walk away. Furthermore, Lynnmour North does not contain any high schools. Moreover, it can be challenging to get to daycares as a pedestrian. With regards to eating, accessing the nearest supermarket on foot is an option for some, but not all, property owners in Lynnmour North.
