Transportation

Travelling by bicycle is easy in Mt. Hope Huron Park as there are a fair number of bike lanes. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also reasonably suitable for walking; many daily errands can be run on foot. Commuting by car is convenient in Mt. Hope Huron Park. Most real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and parking is easy. In contrast, this neighbourhood is not particularly transit friendly. Mt. Hope Huron Park experienced its most significant construction boom prior to the 1960s, so most of the available housing is from this era. The population residing in this part of Kitchener is evenly split between renters and owners. This neighbourhood has a good choice of housing size options, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.

Services

The closest grocery store in this area is generally only a reasonably short walk away. Additionally, Mt. Hope Huron Park is a good place in which to go out to eat, and a small variety of coffee shops can be found as well. It is also a rather short walk to a reasonable selection of clothing stores. With respect to education, both primary and secondary schools are convenient to reach on foot from most houses for sale in this neighbourhood. In contrast, there are only a few daycares and accordingly they can be a long walk away.
