There is a vast selection of green spaces in North Arm South. Green spaces are especially well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out, resulting in them being easy to reach from a large number of locations in this neighbourhood. Lastly, as there are very few pedestrians, this area remains relatively serene.
Cars are a great transportation option in this part of the city. It is a short car ride to the nearest highway from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and it is very easy to park. North Arm South is also quite transit friendly as a consequence of a few nearby bus lines. Walking is not very practical for residents in this area since running daily errands is inconvenient. It is also challenging to get around by bike in North Arm South since the topography is not particularly flat, and the cycling network is rather poor.

Furthermore, a decent selection of clothing stores can be found within a rather short walking distance. Regarding education, in North Arm South, parents and their schoolchildren will commonly be able to access primary schools and daycares on foot. On the other hand, this part of New Westminster does not contain any high schools.
