North Central offers a slower-paced atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. Green spaces are especially well-distributed and there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit, which results in them being easy to reach from many locations in this neighbourhood. This area is also reasonably quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although that is not the case near one of the railway lines.

The split between homeowners and renters is about even. This neighbourhood experienced its main construction boom pre-1960, so most of the available properties are from this era.

As far as eating is concerned, it is very easy to get to the closest grocery store by walking in this part of Regina. Moreover, North Central is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and a small variety of cafes is available as well.
