North Park offers a variety of experiences for those who enjoy a vibrant atmosphere and spending time in green spaces. This neighbourhood has a large number of streets for those looking for a dynamic vibe. There is an extensive selection of entertainment venues, there are lots of people around most of the time, and with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located very close by. Quadra Street is among the most lively streets in this area. Parks are especially well-situated and there are a few of them close by for residents to enjoy, making them very easy to get to from a lot of locations within this part of Victoria.


This area does not necessitate use of a car since several other means of transportation are at the disposal of property owners. A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are especially well-suited for walking; most daily needs are easy to carry out on foot, and numerous businesses are reasonably close by. The public transit network in North Park is good. More specifically, the neighbourhood is connected by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. However, North Park is not particularly car friendly because almost none of the street infrastructure is conducive to driving, and most homes for sale are a very long car ride from the nearest highway.


In North Park, roughly 60% of buildings are small apartment buildings, while large apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of two bedroom and one bedroom homes. Around 80% of the population of this neighbourhood rent their home and the remainder are owners. Roughly one third of homes in this area were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s.


A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short walk away in this area. In addition, those who appreciate eating out won't have to walk far in North Park, where a few restaurants and a few coffee shops can be found. House buyers benefit from a very large number of nearby clothing stores. With respect to education, it is a reasonably short walk to get to daycares and schools from most homes for sale in North Park.
