The best way to get around in Ormsby Place is very often a car. Nearby highways are easy to drive to from any location in this area, and it is easy to come across a parking spot. However, this neighbourhood is not an especially pleasant part of Edmonton for travelling by public transit. Nonetheless, property owners are served by around 10 bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. This part of the city is not especially well-suited for walking as very few daily needs can be met without having to use a car. On the other hand, it is convenient to commute by bicycle in this neighbourhood because Ormsby Place boasts a great cycling infrastructure, and the terrain is quite flat.

The nearest grocery store in this part of the city is typically only a rather short walk away. Residents of this area benefit from a few restaurants as well. With regards to education, parents and their kids will appreciate that wherever their home is located in this part of Edmonton, schools and daycares are close by.
