Transportation

Osoyoos 1 is an extremely convenient reserve for driving. Accessing a parking spot is generally easy. It is very inconvenient for people walking to get around in Osoyoos 1 since almost no common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Housing

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing most buildings in Osoyoos 1, whereas the rest are mainly mobile homes. About 40% of homes in this reserve were constructed after the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s. This reserve offers mainly three bedroom and two bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy roughly 90% of the properties in Osoyoos 1 whereas the remainder are rented.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in this reserve and accordingly they can be a very long walk away. Furthermore, Osoyoos 1 does not contain any high schools. Likewise, daycares are not abundant and thus not always within walking distance. In terms of food, it is very rarely feasible for property owners in Osoyoos 1 to do grocery shopping on foot.
