River Valley Rundle real estate guide & listings for sale

River Valley Rundle is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm ambience. This area is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Finally, accessing green spaces from many locations within the neighbourhood, such as Rundle Park, is very easy since there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in.


This part of Edmonton is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway. In contrast, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. It is easy to commute by bike in River Valley Rundle as there are numerous bike lanes. It is impractical for people travelling on foot to navigate this part of the city since running common errands is challenging by walking.


River Valley Rundle experienced its main construction boom in the 1960s and 1970s, so most of the available housing stock is from this era. In this part of Edmonton, roughly 45% of buildings are small apartment buildings, while the rest are mainly single detached homes and townhouses. About 60% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by renters and 40% are occupied by owners. This area has a good variety of housing size options, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.


Parents and their children will welcome that wherever their home is located in River Valley Rundle, primary schools are nearby. However, there are no high schools in River Valley Rundle. In terms of food, accessing the nearest grocery store by walking is feasible for some, but not all, house buyers in this neighbourhood. A limited selection of restaurants is available in River Valley Rundle as well.
