Homeowners have access to around 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. This neighbourhood is not very conducive to walking because meeting daily needs is difficult on foot. Biking is also challenging in Rural Richmond Hill because there is a significant amount of slopes, and there are few bike lanes.

Nearly 90% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners whereas the rest are rented. In this neighbourhood, many buildings are single detached homes, whereas the remainder are mainly townhouses. This area experienced its largest construction boom following the year 2000, so most of the available housing is from this time period. Notably, this neighbourhood is good for those looking for four or more bedroom homes.

Services

Parents and their children may consider it challenging to access high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. Residents benefit from public and private secondary schools. Additionally, it can be very hard to get to daycares on foot. As far as food is concerned, a fraction of property owners in this part of the town may be able to access the nearest supermarket on foot, while others will have to turn to another means of transportation. Residents benefit from about 20 restaurants and cafes as well.
