People who prefer a calm ambience will enjoy South Surrey. There are over 200 parks nearby for residents to visit, which makes it easy to get to them from numerous locations in this part of Vancouver. Most areas in this area are very quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic.


South Surrey is especially car friendly. Parking is generally easy. On the other hand, travelling by transit can be very difficult in South Surrey as a result of the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Biking is challenging in South Surrey because the bicycling network is not especially extensive, and cyclists are faced with quite a few slopes. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.


Some, but not all, home buyers in South Surrey will live within walking distance of one of approximately 30 grocery stores. There are also a few choices for those who care about close by restaurants and cafes. In terms of education, primary schools are convenient to access on foot from any location in South Surrey. In contrast, high schools are not very numerous and accordingly tend to require a rather long walk to get to. Residents have the option of public and private schools at both the primary and high school level. Moreover, there are highly ranked elementary and secondary schools, like Southridge School, in South Surrey.
