Cars are an excellent transportation option in this area. It is very easy to park, and it is a short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in Sydney River. It is impractical for pedestrians to navigate this part of the municipality because very few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

This area did not experience a single construction boom; the construction of new dwellings in this community was spread throughout several decades in recent history. High schools and primary schools are not especially abundant in this community, and thus may be a rather long walk away. Moreover, it can be challenging to access daycares as a pedestrian.
