Timberlea is a reasonably good community to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. Most areas in this part of Halifax are quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, it is easy to get to public green spaces in the community, since numerous homes for sale have one that is occasionally challenging to reach and there are around 10 parks close by for residents to explore.
The best method of transportation in Timberlea is very often driving. Finding a parking spot is generally easy, and many houses for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway. In contrast, the public transit system in this part of Halifax is quite bad.
