Uplands is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. This area is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Finally, there are a few public green spaces close by for residents to enjoy, making it very easy to access them from most locations in Uplands.


Uplands is very car friendly. It is very easy to park. On the other hand, the public transit network in this part of the city is not very practical. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close. Travelling on foot is not very practical for home buyers in Uplands as meeting daily needs is challenging. This part of Langley is also not very cycling-friendly as there are few bike lanes, and cyclists encounter a significant amount of slopes.
