Victoria Hills is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. There are a few green spaces nearby for residents to discover, including Gzowski Park and Filsinger Park, which makes them very easy to reach. This area is also quiet, as the streets tend to be quite tranquil - however noise can be problematic near the railway line.


Victoria Hills is quite cycling-friendly because this part of the city boasts a great bicycling infrastructure. It is also easy for pedestrians to navigate this area; running daily errands is convenient. Driving is a very good transportation option in this neighbourhood. It is convenient to come across a place to park. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be difficult in Victoria Hills as a result of the infrequent service. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop.


Townhouses are the most common housing type, representing roughly one third of buildings in Victoria Hills, and the rest are mainly large apartment buildings, small apartment buildings, and single detached homes. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and two bedroom homes. Renters occupy around 60% of the dwellings in Victoria Hills and owners occupy the remainder. About half of homes in this neighbourhood were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s.


A supermarket is usually reachable within a reasonably short walk from most homes for sale in Victoria Hills. In addition, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and a small selection of cafes is available as well. When it comes to education, parents and their kids will find that wherever their house is situated in Victoria Hills, primary schools are nearby. However, Victoria Hills does not contain any high schools.
