Vineland / Jordan is quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however some parts can be quite loud, especially closer to the railway line or Queen Elizabeth Way.
The preferred way to move around in this part of the town is usually driving. It is very easy to park, and many houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way. Vineland / Jordan is not very conducive to walking since running common errands is very difficult on foot.
In Vineland / Jordan, the majority of buildings are single detached homes, whereas the rest are mainly townhouses. This part of Lincoln is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about 85% of the properties in the neighbourhood and 15% are occupied by renters. Around 30% of properties in this area were built pre-1960, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s.
Accessing the closest supermarket on foot is an option for some, but not all, house buyers in this part of the town. There are also around 20 restaurants in this area. Regarding education, high schools and primary schools are not particularly abundant in Vineland / Jordan, and therefore tend to require an extended walk to get to. At the elementary level, both public and private schools can be found.
