Waverley is fairly good for those who like quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case close to the railway line. Around 40% of properties in this part of the municipality were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This community offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
There are only a few primary schools in this part of the municipality and thus they can be a long walk away. Furthermore, Waverley does not contain any high schools. Moreover, daycares are not numerous and consequently not always within walking distance. As far as food is concerned, buying one's groceries usually requires the use of a car in Waverley.
