West Bowl is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm ambience. Public green spaces, such as Gordon Bryant Park and Fish Trap Island, are very well-situated and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to explore, making them easy to get to. Most areas in this part of Prince George are reasonably quiet, as the streets are generally peaceful.
Cars are a very good mode of transportation in West Bowl. It is very convenient to find a parking spot. On the other hand, travelling by public transit is challenging in this part of the city. Nonetheless, house owners are served by approximately 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most residences. West Bowl is not very suitable for walking because very few daily needs can be met on foot.
